Jul 17, 2022 · Let's say your route is currently a 45K. After the mini-count, the new evaluation is a 48K. Your route stays 48K Oct-Mar. In January, 2023, the USPS cuts the route (to 43K volume)... it's going to affect your volume and scans for 3 months. (out of 12) Apr 2023, your evaluation should be ~47K (48 * 9 months, 43 * 3 months)

The pre-count conference is a joint conference between rural carriers and managers. Regardless of the type of mail count, a joint conference must be held at least 15 days prior to the beginning of the mail count. Those 100 parcels that you put in mailbox only get you 24 seconds each under rrecs compared to 48 seconds including scan under old mailcount. 100 x 24 = 2400 seconds. That's 40 minutes per day or 4 hour loss weekly compared to old mail count. This eats away alot what you gain to those you take to door.
