The KS47 mag catch is so weak it requires almost no force to move it. My questions - for anyone else that has a KS47 --How much spring tension does the mag catch on your KS47 have - and if you have a regular AK - is it about the same or much less. A adjustable gas block is the best way to control gas and recoil for your rifle. You can use different buffer weights and springs to control recoil too but the adjustable gas block is the best way.
