PLEASE HELP! V-Star 1300 engine problems. I have a 2007 Yamaha V-star 1300 Custom. It starts up fine and shifts fine, but when I'm releasing the clutch it makes a horrible grinding noise. I've checked the oil level and made sure the bike's in gear, the grinding doesn't happen in Neutral but in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd it's happening consistently. One cylinder (rear) on my 1100 custom is backfiring and is sluggish at highway speeds. It idles great and revs great. Holding the throttle open causes one cylinder to "pop".
